Article 1: Political Freedoms and Civil Rights
(A) All nations shall be allowed to vote unless they are suspected or proven puppets, or have had their voting rights suppressed by a judge.
(B) All nations may say what they please so long as it is not slanderous nor libel(intent required) or in violation of the site's rules. Repeat offences of lies or other offences that are not extreme enough to require a trial can lead to one if they happen to reach an astonishing high repeat level (daily basis).
(C) Breaking section B is not cause for ejection and/or banning, unless the nation in question resorts to threats (this is a power, not a sentence).
Article 2: Administration and Elections and Dates
(A) No administrators (government officials) shall cause a scandal of -gate proportions (reference Nixon: Watergate).
(B) Elections will be held the first weekend of the month bi-monthly (every other).
(C) All administrators will be held to the Ethical Code Se Gerro.
Article 3: Military Powers and Declaration of RAIDERNATION
(A) Military action will be taken if, and only if, all peaceful options have been exhausted or a large threat.
(B) Any nation caught trading secrets, selling information, spying or committing espionage, or in any (other) way endangering the livelihood, safety, and security of our region will face proprius vexillum.
(C) In times of war, the government will, in an earnest manner, attempt to keep the lives of reservist/non-militarized/citizen nations untouched, unscarred, peaceful, and regular.
(R) RAIDERNATION
-may only be declared in the case of impending raiding, NOT standard wargame.
-suspends elections
-restricts entry into the AOAN.
-requires any member of our coalition not currently in the region to be telegrammed to return home with the exception of puppet regions.
-may last for no more than two election cycles.
Article 4: Judicial System
(A) Trial by jury is a right that all nations have. It can be turned down.
(B) A judge shall monitor all cases.
(C) Arbitration sessions will be given upon request of nations to the current arbitrator.
(D) No nation may be tried for the same crime twice.
(E) If results of a trial are unsatisfactory contact the current justice, not judge, to have it reviewed.
Article 5: Legislation
(A) Regional Legislator shall remain as it has always been, a ceremonial position.
(B) Establishes that henceforth the Cabinet shall act as a legislative body.
(C) Ensures that if a majority of the resident nations disagree with a policy, they have a week to gain support for a veto.
(E) The president has the power of intercessuros in infinitum.
Article 6: Amendments
(A) Amendments require two thirds of the cabinet to propose one to be considered.
(B) Amendments require three fourths of the cabinet to be validated.
(C) Amendments require two thirds of the population to vote for it to be ratified.
(D) No one may veto an Amendment.
(E) To repeal an Amendment two thirds of the cabinet must approve, along with either the judge or justice.
Ethical Code Se Gerro
(1) All administrators must follow the laws regardless of position.
(2) Any government official accepting bribes will face proprius amotio.
(3) If an administrator is caught breaking sections (A), (B), and or (R) of Article 2 they will face proprius vexillum.
